Feisty Fawn Ubuntu 7.04 was released on 19 April 2007 and it's support ended on 19 October 2008.[1] Ubuntu 7.04 included new features, included was a migration assistant to help Windows users make the transition to Ubuntu, support for Kernel-based Virtual Machine, assisted codec and restricted drivers installation including Adobe Flash, Java, MP3 support. The installation of Nvidia and ATI drivers was made less complex, Compiz desktop effects, support for Wi-Fi Protected Access, a disk usage analyzer (baobab)[2], GNOME Control Center, and Zeroconf support for many devices.

Feisty Fawn incudes Gaim 2.0,[3] GIMP 2.2, GNOME 2.18, Mozilla Firefox 2.0, and 2.2. The server installation included MySQL 5.0, PHP 5.2, and Python 2.5. Ubuntu 7.04 used Linux 2.6.20 and X.Org 7.2.
