Inkscape Vector Illustrator is an illustrator that is included in Ubuntu by default. It uses the SVG format to resize drawings with lossless quality. It began in 2003 as a code fork of the Sodipodi project which has been in development since 1999. Inkscape is licensed and distributed with a free license.
